Home Health Aides

Certified Home Health Aides are available on an hourly or live-in basis. Under the supervision of a registered nurse, the certified Home Health Aide is a vital member of the home healthcare team. Because they play such an important role, we look for certain qualities — compassion, patience, reliability, and a true desire to help others.All VNHS aides are certified by the NJ State Board of Nursing and receive a minimum of 12 hours continuing education each year.
Support services can include:
- Personal care
- Bathing, grooming, dressing
- Walking, light exercise
- Meal preparation
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Shopping and errands
- Respite care
- Post-operative care, including cosmetic surgery
